Why tallow for sensitive skin specifically

Tallow is structurally close to your own sebum, which means your barrier does not have to treat it as a foreign object. It also carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.

Most sensitive-skin products are water-based, which means they need emulsifiers to hold together and preservatives to stay safe. Those are reasonable ingredients, and they are also two more things your skin has an opinion about.

Will this help with redness?
It is formulated to support a calmer-looking complexion and to avoid the ingredients that commonly provoke reactive skin. It is a cosmetic moisturizer, not a treatment, and persistent redness is worth a conversation with a dermatologist rather than a jar of anything.

I have eczema or rosacea. Can I use it?
Plenty of people with those conditions use tallow and get on well with it. We are not going to make a claim about a medical condition. Ask your dermatologist, then patch test on a small area for several days before going further.

Is the lemongrass going to irritate me?
It is used at a low level and it is what gives the cream its light natural scent rather than being an active. If you already know citrus or lemongrass is a trigger for you, choose Lunar Renewal instead.

Is it fragrance-free?
There is no synthetic fragrance added. It does have a faint natural scent from the botanicals themselves. Genuinely fragrance-free is a different thing and this is not that.

Can I use it on my body, or on my kids?
