Wellspring - NMN 500mg, NAD+ Precursor
The FDA spent three years saying you could not sell this. In September 2025 it changed its mind, and most of the industry has not caught up.
Here is the short version, because you may have heard NMN was banned and been confused about why it is back.
In 2022 the FDA took the position that NMN was excluded from the definition of a dietary supplement. Amazon delisted it. A lot of brands walked away. On 29 September 2025 the FDA reversed that position and confirmed NMN is lawful in dietary supplements, acknowledging it had been sold as one in the US since 2017.
So this is legal, it always arguably was, and the shelf is thinner than it should be because plenty of people are still working from three-year-old news.
What NMN actually is
Beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide. It is a precursor, which means your body converts it into NAD+, a coenzyme present in every cell you have and involved in turning food into usable energy inside the mitochondria.
NAD levels are widely reported to decline with age. That single observation is why this entire category exists.
One ingredient. That is the whole label.
500 mg of beta-NMN per capsule. One capsule a day. Thirty capsules, thirty days.
No proprietary blend, no eleven supporting actives at fairy dust doses, nothing to obscure how much you are actually getting. The other ingredients are the vegetable capsule and what is needed to fill and flow it.
Single-ingredient products are easy to price-check and easy to compare, which is exactly why most brands avoid selling them.
Wellspring or Cellular Reset, and why we sell both
This is the question people ask us most, so here it is plainly.
Cellular Reset gives you NAD+ directly, 500mg of it, plus quercetin and trans-resveratrol. It is a stack in one bottle, built the way longevity protocols are usually written.
Wellspring gives your body the precursor and lets it make its own. One ingredient, upstream, nothing else in the way.
Which route works better orally is genuinely unsettled. There is a real argument that oral NAD+ is poorly absorbed and that precursors like NMN are the better delivery route. There is a counter-argument. We are not going to pretend a trial closed the question, and anyone who tells you it did is selling rather than explaining.
We stock both because the honest position is that reasonable people land on different sides of it. Pick the one whose logic you find more convincing.
Who this is for
People who read about NAD and want the cleanest version of it. People who want to know exactly what is in the capsule and at what dose. Anyone already deep enough in this category to have an opinion about precursors.
Also anyone who tried an NAD+ product, was not sure, and wants to test the other route before writing off the whole idea.
Who this is not for
If you want to feel something this week, this is the wrong purchase. This is a compounding-effect product. There is no buzz, no lift at 11am, nothing you will notice on day three. If that is what you are after, that is Clarity Flow.
If you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, or on medication, talk to your doctor first. NMN is well tolerated in the research to date, but the long-term human data is still thin and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.
And if you are already taking Cellular Reset, you do not need both. Read the section above and pick one.
How to take it
One capsule daily with water. Morning is the common choice, on the theory that it fits the body's own energy rhythm, though there is no strong evidence that timing matters.
Daily and boring is the protocol. Evaluate it over a full bottle at minimum, ideally two or three.
Questions people actually ask
Is NMN legal to buy in the US?
Yes. The FDA confirmed on 29 September 2025 that NMN is lawful in dietary supplements. If you remember it disappearing from Amazon in 2023, that was the earlier position and it has been reversed.
What is the difference between NMN, NR and NAD+?
NAD+ is the coenzyme your cells actually use. NMN and NR are precursors, meaning the body converts them into NAD+. Wellspring is NMN. Cellular Reset is NAD+ directly.
Is 500 mg a real dose?
Yes. 500 mg daily is the dose most commonly used in the human research on NMN. It is not a token amount included so the word can appear on a label.
Will I feel anything?
Probably not, and we would rather set that expectation now. This is a structural supplement. People who evaluate it well evaluate it over months, and usually on energy baseline rather than on any single day.
Is it vegan?
Yes. HPMC vegetable capsule, no animal ingredients.
Can I take it with the greens, reds or Sacred Balance?
Yes. No ingredient overlap with any of them.
Can I take it with Cellular Reset?
You can, and most people should not. You would be paying twice to approach the same pathway from two directions. Pick one, run it for three months, then decide.
How long does a bottle last?
Thirty days. Thirty capsules, one per serving.
Is the research settled?
No. NMN is one of the most actively studied compounds in longevity right now, the animal data is genuinely interesting, and the long-term human data is still being built. That is the honest state of it.
