What does fermented actually mean here?
The mushroom biomass is cultured with probiotics, which breaks down the chitin cell walls before you consume it. The intent is better absorption of the compounds inside.
Is mycelium as good as fruiting body?
This is a mycelial biomass blend. There is a genuine ongoing debate in the mushroom world about mycelium versus fruiting body, and we are not going to pretend it is settled. Worth reading about if you are deep in this category.
Will it make me sleepy? There is reishi in it.
Reishi is traditionally an evening mushroom, but it sits alongside cordyceps here, which is energising. Most people take it in the morning without issue. Take it at night if you would rather.
What does it taste like?
Earthy and mild. It disappears completely in coffee and is noticeable in plain water.
Can I take it with the greens or reds?
Yes. No mushroom overlap with either.
