Will it actually brighten my skin?
It is a cleansing bar with gentle exfoliation, and removing dull surface cells does make skin look fresher. That is a cosmetic effect from washing, not a treatment, and we are not going to dress it up as one.
Face or body?
Body, primarily. On faces it is a personal call, and gentler is usually better there.
Is it scrubby?
Gently. No harsh grit, no shell fragments.
Why is this one $16 when the others are $14?

Does it stain?
No. The golden color is in the bar and it does not transfer.
